Trade fairs and events

As the world's leading trade fair and congress for components, systems and applications of optical technologies, the LASER World of Photonics Munich offers a platform for representatives from industry, research and science, to present developments and innovations in the areas of material processing, measuring and testing, imaging and laser. The integrated congress at the Laser Trade Fair also highlights the entire spectrum of photonics from a variety of perspectives.

At the LASER World of Photonics 2019, the Fraunhofer Institute for Surface Engineering and Thin Films IST presents ultra-precise optical interference and bandpass filters, which were produced with the EOSS^® (Enhanced Optical Sputtering System) sputtering system. The system allows batch processing of up to ten substrates simultaneously with extreme precision and uniformity of coatings with highly complicated layer designs and high process reliability. In addition, a demo version of the monitoring system MOCCA+^® (Modular Coating Control Application) will be presented, which is used for coating thickness control and automation of the entire coating process in the field of precision optics.
