Trade fairs and events

Again, the TU Night, a mixture of science festival and Campus Open Air, takes place in Braunschweig. This year's event is under the motto ”Knowledge moves the future”.

For the first time the Fraunhofer IST participates in the Science Night. As part of the technical exhibition, which takes place from 6 to 11 pm, the IST presents a wide range of topics on a common booth with the Battery LabFactory Braunschweig BLB, the Automotive Research Centre Niedersachsen NFF and the Open Hybrid LabFactory e.V. OHLF.

At the joint booth in front of the Haus der Wissenschaft, the scientists of the Fraunhofer IST will give visitors an insight into the current research work of the institute.

Among other things, waveguides made of metallized CFRP waveguide antennas of the ”Sentinel mission” and coated optical filters for outer space, electrochemical systems with diamond electrodes for water purification as well as an exhibit from the field of battery research will be presented.
