Future Automotive Production Conference FAPC 2022
Sustainability and design play an important role in the context of future mobility for a circular economy. Corresponding concepts must be embedded in a life cycle perspective in the development of new automotive components and enabled by new production technologies. For the sixth time – and for the first time as the Future Automotive Production Conference (FAPC) – experts from science and industry will meet in Wolfsburg to discuss innovative approaches to improving the sustainability - the guiding theme of the conference - of automotive components along their entire life cycle.
From May 17 to 18, the Future Automotive Production Conference 2022 will be held at the Open Hybrid LabFactory (OHLF) research campus in Wolfsburg – this year for the first time together with the Werkstoffsymposium. This cooperation offers visitors a high diversity of presentations from research and industry.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christoph Herrmann is a member of the Conference Chair. Furthermore, the Fraunhofer IST is participating with numerous lectures:
