Trade fairs and exhibitions

This year, the world's leading trade fair for environmental technologies, IFAT 2022, will again be held in attendance. From May 30 to June 3 over 3300 exhibitors will come together in Munich to present their innovations in water, sewage, waste and raw materials management.

The Fraunhofer IST is also participating in cooperation with the Fraunhofer IOSB and its institute branch applied systems technology with a diamond electrode-based system for the production of ozonized water ”DiaDis” to demonstrate the efficiency and sustainability water disinfection using ozon.

At the present time, sustainable use of our most important resource, water, is more important than ever. Our wastewater contains pathogens, metals and chemical pollutants, necessitating innovations in water purification and recycling. Ozonized water disinfection is not only sustainable and efficient, but also cost-effective and requires no additional chemicals.
