International Conference on Space Optics ICSO 2024

The International Conference on Space Optics ICSO is considered the largest global gathering for experts in the fields of optical, optoelectronic and photonic technologies. The focus of the conference is on the application of these technologies in space missions. It thus offers a platform for discussions on current research, past and new developments and flight experiences. This year, the conference is taking place for the 15th time and promotes dialog between technology and space experts. It is therefore an important driver for innovation and the effectiveness of optical technologies in space applications. ICSO is organized by the European Space Agency (ESA) and the French Centre for Space Studies (CNES).

  • The focal topics of the conference are
  • Imagers and Radiometers
  • Spectrometers
  • Lidars and libs
  • Metrology
  • Scientific and focal plane instrumentation
  • Telescopes and large optics
  • Lasers
  • Detectors and focal plane technologies
  • Fiber optics and microphonics
  • Passive optical components
  • Optical and quantum communications
