SONKREIS: KREIS-Transferveranstaltung 2024
The SONKREIS: KREIS-Transferveranstaltung (engl.: transfer event) is a format for the public, taking a closer look at the topic of circular economy. The event is organized by the KREIS competence center, whose partners from science and industry enter into dialogue with the participants on this day. The partners will provide insights into their work at the competence center and present initial results. In addition to various information on the circular economy, the main focus will be on networking so that the public can directly contribute to the KREIS competence center.
The director of the Fraunhofer IST will give a keynote speech at the KREIS transfer event.

Keynote: Circular economy - Is the future running smoothly?

In the European Union (EU-27), only around 12% of the material resources used are secondary raw materials. What are the main hurdles to a circular economy? What opportunities arise from digitalization and a Circular Economy 4.0? The presentation will shed light on these and other questions and highlight fields of action and limits of circular economy and is therefore aimed at regional companies, social partners, associations and the public.
