The webinar "Fit für die CSRD" offers an introduction to successful sustainability reporting and provides an introduction to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). It shows the connections between CSRD and ESRS, which requirements apply to which companies and when, and how the mandatory audit of sustainability reports is handled. It also provides insights into the relevant fields of action and data points, the implementation of the materiality analysis and successful stakeholder dialog. 

The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) presents companies with new challenges, but at the same time offers them the opportunity to highlight their own sustainability performance. New challenges include selecting relevant topics, conducting a compliant materiality analysis, collecting reportable data points, documenting processes in the report and much more. 

The webinar will first provide an overview of the CSRD and ESRS. Subsequently, fields of action and reportable data points will be presented and an introduction to the materiality analysis and stakeholder dialog will be given. The event is aimed at companies that will be covered by the CSRD in the future and are still in the early stages of implementation. The target group includes in particular people from sustainability and CSR management, management, corporate reporting and communication.

The webinar is free of charge and will take place online once in July, on July 10, 2024, and again in September, on September 18, 2024, from 10-11 am. The webinar is organized by the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology IPK, Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA and Fraunhofer IST.
