Automatica is the world's leading trade fair for smart automation and robotics, which will take place in Munich from June 24 - 27, 2025. It is aimed at companies from all industrial sectors that want to make their production more efficient, flexible and secure. The fair will focus on the major topics of digitalization and AI, sustainable production and the future of work, which are particularly relevant in view of major global challenges such as climate protection, the shortage of skilled workers and autonomous production.

In addition to innovative product solutions and practical applications, automatica offers an intensive exchange with international key players and experts. Exhibitor areas include, among others, industrial robotics, assembly and handling technology, service robotics, industrial image processing, as well as software and cloud computing. The fair not only offers a comprehensive overview of key future-oriented technologies, but also a variety of lectures and practice-oriented demonstrations.

The Fraunhofer IST is presenting on the topic of "In-process monitoring using integrated thin-film sensors" with the Fraunhofer autoMOBILE Production Alliance at the joint booth of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft.
