Hannover Messe 2025

The Hannover Messe is the most important international platform for all technologies related to industrial transformation. It will take place from March 31 to April 4, 2025 at the Hannover Exhibition Center. This year, more than 4.000 exhibitors, 1.600 speakers and 130.000 visitors are expected again, and more than 14.000 products and solutions will be presented. In particular, the electrical engineering and electronics, mechanical and plant engineering, automation technology, research and development, and automotive and vehicle industries will be represented at the fair. The Hannover Messe is being held under the guiding theme of “shaping the future with technology” and this year's focus is on the following topics:

  • Compressed Air & Vacuum

The Fraunhofer IST is participating in the trade fair with the Zukunftslabor Circular Economy and the Wasserstoff Campus Salzgitter at two booths.

Hall 2, Booth A10

The Future Lab Circular Economy, in whose research the Fraunhofer IST is involved, is represented at the “Niedersachsen Gemeinschaftsstand Innovationen aus Wissenschaft und Forschung” (engl. Lower Saxony joint stand for innovations from science and research). The Future Lab is researching innovative, digital solutions for the sustainable and efficient use of natural resources and has been funded for this purpose since 2024 by the Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and the Volkswagen Foundation for a project duration of five years.

Hall 13, Booth C62

The Wasserstoff Campus Salzgitter, whose office is managed by the Fraunhofer IST, is represented at the Salzgitter AG booth. The Wasserstoff Campus Salzgitter e.V. is a non-profit association for the promotion and development of hydrogen technologies. Founded by nine key players from industry, science and politics, the association pursues the goal of realizing hydrogen technologies along the entire value chain, from production to use, taking into account economic and ecological aspects.
