pro flex 2025
The pro flex conference, launched by the Fraunhofer FEP in 2004, is a major event for the roll-to-roll processing of flexible materials. It is aimed at industry experts, engineers and scientists, as well as innovators, managers, decision-makers and newcomers who develop or do business with roll-to-roll technologies. The conference consists of a combination of plenary talks, a tour of the Fraunhofer FEP laboratories, a poster session, and a get-together.
The main topics of this year's pro flex are:
- Vacuum technologies for advanced manufacturing: insights into roll-to-roll systems
- Vacuum coating technologies for batteries
- Surface structuring by wet coating
- Sustainable packaging
- Thermochromic materials for building applications
- Scalable technologies for flexible perovskite solar cells
- Funding strategies: navigating opportunities and establishing collaborative networks across the European Union
Dr. Stephan Ulrich from the Fraunhofer IST will be giving a lecture as part of the conference program.
