Office Management Assistant

starting in 2026

You enjoy working cooperatively and as part of a team, you are a good communicator, and you are really great at organization?


If you want to find out how to handle administrative tasks and manage office processes, you should consider training to become an Office Management Assistant.

You will become familiar with a range of booking systems, coordinate schedules and prepare for meetings. You will have a wide range of tasks including processing internal and external correspondence and developing presentations. You will research information and present it appropriately. As well as working at a computer, you will work a great deal with other people – within your own team or with customers.

Two optional qualifications are on offer as part of the training (in accordance with the new training regulations), offering you the opportunity to specialize further.

Optional qualifications:

  • Order management and coordination
  • Commercial management and control
  • Commercial processes in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
  • Procurement and logistics

  • Marketing and distribution
  • Assistance and secretarial services
  • Public relations and events management
     

Training period:

Three years, shorter periods may be possible under certain conditions

 

What you offer:

  • you have a school leaving certificate (Realschulabschluss, 16+) with good to very good results in German, English and math
  • you are interested in administrative and organizational duties
  • you enjoy dealing with people and working with computers
  • you are quick to grasp new skills and information
