At the Fraunhofer IST Application Center, customer-specific plasma sources are developed – in close cooperation with industry – which serve a wide range of applications. Through the treatment of diverse material systems such as metals, polymers, glasses, natural materials, etc. whose – in some cases, widely varying – surface properties can have a significant influence on the plasma parameters and their characteristics, we are able to offer expertise gained over many years in the field of process development. As a result, a target-oriented adaptation of your requirements to our systems is ensured.
