The 29^th CIRP Conference on Life Cycle Engineering (LCE2022) focuses on the latest developments and research results under the theme ”Engineering Sustainability”. The event is organized under the auspices of the International Academy of Production Engineering CIRP.

Experts from all over the world will meet to discuss the evaluation and improvement of sustainability in all phases of the product life cycle. The focus lies on application areas such as manufacturing, electronics, energy systems, transport and mobility, and healthcare systems.

This year, the director of the Fraunhofer IST, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christoph Herrmann, is again part of the conference's scientific committee. Furthermore he will supplement the scientific program with a keynote lecture on
