47th ak-adp Workshop

The 47th ak-adp Workshop for Sustainable Bonding Technology using Atmospheric Pressure Plasma is organized by the User Group for Atmospheric Pressure Plasma in cooperation with INNOVENT and will take place from November 13 to 14 in Jena. The main focus of the event is on the potential of sustainable bonding technology. Practical advice and experiences will be exchanged.

The workshop is divided into four sessions:

  • Session 1: Adhesion as a requirement for functionality
  • Session 2: Applications for different material combinations and demands
  • Session 3: The special case of recyclates
  • Session 4: Liability reduction versus recyclability - conflict or opportunity?!

Experts from Germany, Austria and Luxembourg will give presentations on the topics of adhesion mechanisms, cleaning, surface treatment, coating, composites, silicone, recyclates, recyclability and REACH. The program will be complemented by a laboratory tour by INNOVENT e.V. Jena, a cultural evening program and a get-together on the first day as well as a panel discussion on the second day, which will address the topic of sustainability and economic efficiency of plasma processes.

Fraunhofer IST is participating in the ak-adp workshop with the following lecture:
